We specialise in safe, ethical remote collar training for off-lead reliability, especially for high-prey-drive dogs
Some dogs simply aren’t safe off-lead with traditional training alone.
High prey-drive dogs, working breeds, young dogs with big engines — they’ll recall beautifully in the garden… then totally ignore you, taking off the second a deer, rabbit, cat or pheasant appears.
Ecollar training (remote collar training) is not a shortcut or a quick fix.
It’s a clear, consistent communication system that allows your dog to understand you, and certain behaviours in the moment — even at distance.
Used correctly, it’s one of the safest ways to give dogs freedom and keep wildlife and the public safe.
REMEMBER- it is a legal requirement in the UK for your dog to be under control at all times.

Some dogs simply aren’t safe off-lead with traditional dog training alone. High prey-drive dogs, working breeds, and young dogs with big engines may recall beautifully in the garden but can completely ignore commands the moment a deer, rabbit, or pheasant appears. Ecollar training, also known as remote collar training, is not a shortcut or quick fix but rather a method for effective behaviour modification. It provides a clear, consistent communication system that helps your dog understand your commands and certain behaviours in real-time, even at a distance. When used correctly, e-collar training is one of the safest ways to give dogs the freedom they crave while ensuring the safety of wildlife and the public.
REMEMBER - it is a legal requirement in the UK for your dog to be under control at all times.
When used correctly, e-collar training can be highly effective for behaviour modification in dog training. We utilize modern, high-quality e-collars designed for adjustable communication. Like any tool, safety in dog training comes from the trainer’s knowledge, correct introduction, fair application, and clear owner training.

There is no electric shock, this is a term that dates back to the primitive stages of ecollar use back in the 1950s. This is a term still used for emotional impact by those who are against (and usually wholly uneducated on) the modern application of this equipment.
Modern ecollars utilise TENS style technologies.
Another myth.
Modern ecollars do not generate heat. Without a thermic reaction there can be no burn. This is not true.
The RSPCA in Australia were successfully sued by a court having made this claim publicly and it being proven to be false.
The only country in the UK which has criminally outlawed ecollar use, is Wales, having banned them in 2010.
You should expect to see a dog that recalls consistently and chooses not to embark on chase type behaviours, without use of the ecollar, even around competing motivators such as prey and other dogs
Absolutely.
We DO NOT utilise ecollars in any form, on dogs less than 12 months old.
Absolutely not.
Ecollar training is utilised to reinforce or enforce something the dog already knows, or should not perform.
Commands should always have been taught to a high level of understanding via traditional training approaches. This is not "The Magic Button"
NO!
All breeds are welcome to embark on this training, should the issues presented be suitable.
ecollars are very versatile when applied by a skilled , experienced practitioner.
Most commonly we see dogs for chase of other animals and livestock, and for dogs that selectively fail to recall despite understanding the command , around competing motivators, such as other dogs.
